The Minnesota County Engineers' Association (MCEA) has a Scholarship Program for civil engineering students and civil engineering technician students.
Civil Engineering students may apply for one of seven $2,000 scholarships. Five scholarships are awarded to two eligible students attending the University of Minnesota (U of M), one eligible student attending North Dakota State University (NDSU), one eligible student attending South Dakota State University (SDSU), one eligible student attending Minnesota State University, Mankato (MSU). Interested students should contact their respective University for consideration for the MCEA Scholarship.
Your University will provide the application forms and process the application.
There are also two "at large" scholarships for eligible civil engineering students attending a university other than the U of M, NDSU, SDSU, or MSU. Applicants must meet several pre-requisites. Civil engineering students must be attending a university having an ABET accredited civil engineering program. Students must be a resident of the State of Minnesota. You must attend school full time for three quarters or two semesters during the academic school year. Applicants must have an academic status as a sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student at the time of scholarship award to be eligible. You may apply by downloading the application form and submitting by June 1st.
